The carry handle in the centre saves the user having to stretch their arm around the width of the board. The fins are far safer than hard board fins due to their considered construction, they screw through the deck and will bend upon impact rather than snap or cause major harm in crowded areas.

Croyde Surf Shop Softboard 7ft is our customised version of the Alder Pro2. We have sold and hired these boards for around about a decade. It’s a solid choice when you are trying to learn to surf. It offers great amounts of float and stability for those trying to learn to surf in the turbulent white water. The carry handle is a must! You won’t need to be one of those people you see draaggingg their board up and down the beach… There is nothing worse for the board and it’s a bad habit to get in to. The handle means that even the smaller kids and teenagers are able to carry larger boards, something that is crucial in the early days of learning to surf.
