Principle hirers must be aged 18 or over and be able to swim a minimum of 100 metres.
All hirers must be in good physical and mental health and have a reasonable level of fitness.
All hirers must be drink/drug free at all times.
All hire is undertaken entirely at your own risk No responsibility is accepted for the suitability of equipment selected by or provided to the hirer based on their own estimation of their ability level.
The hirer accepts full responsibility for the safe-keeping of the hired equipment whilst in their possession.
Damage above and beyond "fair wear and tear" may be charged at the discretion of the management.
Late returns will be charged another day/24 hrs hire or part thereof at the discretion of the management.
Loss or failure to return equipment by the Hirer will be charged at current replacement cost plus 20%
In the event that sea conditions deteriorate during the hire period the hirer should stay out of the water and immediately contact or return to the shop for guidance.

The hirer should follow the recommendations of the RNLI, it's Flag System and/or it's appointed Lifeguards whenever possible. Given that we are in the middle of three very different beaches... Guidance offered by the shop and it's staff is offered as "good practice" only and no responsibility shall rest on the shop or it's staff as a consequence of hirers or others following this guidance.
No refunds are given for any reason (inc. early return) once the hire equipment has been collected by or delivered to the hirer.
Persons failing to collect pre-booked hire gear will not be entitled to a refund however a credit for future use may (or may not) be issued at the discretion of the management. Any credit offered will only be redeemable in the same calender year and will only be for the hire of surf equipment.
Cancellation of the order... Over 24 hrs - Full refund minus 4% admin fee (to cover our lost bank/card charges). Less than 48 hrs - No refund however a credit for future use may (or may not) be issued at the discretion of the management. Surf Lessons.. No refund unless 7 clear days notice of cancellation is given. However, a credit for future use may (or may not) be issued at the discretion of the management. Where possible our preferred option will be to rearrange the lesson at a time convenient for all.
All neoprene hire equipment (wetsuits etc.) must be returned the correct way around (i.e. not inside out).
The act of using this website shall in itself constitute agreement to these terms and conditions.
Returned Goods must be in perfect unused resaleable condition complete with tags. Wetsuits should be free of fingernail damage and creases. Wearing or using an item will be deemed as accepting the goods. In this instance no credit note, refund or exchange will be allowed.
Accepted Returns shall receive a Credit Note for use instore or online only. There is no automatic entitlement to a refund. Any discretionary financial refund will be subject to a 4% admin fee deduction.
Exchanges.. It is the Customers responsibility to ensure that returned items are adequatly and carefully packed with the correct postage and insurance paid. Although we may have provided free postage to the customer in the first instance, the postage costs of all subsequent despatches by ourselves will be the responsibility of the customer.
Time Limits for online/ebay returns is 2 weeks. (Online 3 weeks after Dec 25th)
Click & Collect items are deemed to be accepted once they have left our premises.
Click & Collect Secondhand/Ex-hire items purchased unseen are Refundable if rejected upon first sight, they are however deemed accepted once they have left our premises. Secondhand goods (specifically Surfboards and Wetsuits) are Sold as Seen and cannot be credited, refunded or exchanged.Your statutory rights remain uneffected.
Returns of Clothing/Wetsuits etc. will remained unexamined by us for a minimum of 3 days so please allow this extra time for us to safely process returns/exchanges.
